Always curious to see what my embroidery designs decorate, I always welcome photo’s of the finished projects.
Jane from the the ETSY store “The Rowdy Ladybug“ sent us this picture.
She writes…. “I used it (puzzled heart designs) on polyester “singlets” for a team of runners who were doing a relay in the Pittsburgh Marathon to raise funds for ABOARD. (ABOARD supports families of autistic children.) The ladies wanted their kids’ names on all the shirts, with the name of their own child somehow highlighted.
We settled on the puzzle heart design, with the names in a ring around it. I rotated the text for each shirt to place the wearer’s own child’s name at the top.”
I am really impressed with how it looks, she did a great job! I especially like the lettering she skillfully added.
I hope the ladies raised tons of cash for ABOARD!
Goes to show how fun embroidery can be and why I love it so much. One idea can be changed to be something totally different!!!
